This truly one-of-a-kind blanket serves many purposes: as a picnic blanket, tablecloth, throw blanket, sofa accent blanket, and even as a beach or pool side wrap-around skirt.

Flat woven and made from hand-dyed cotton/poly (70/30) yarn that is fade resistant and colorfast. Reversible design with hand stitched designs at the center and hand stitched edges all around. Made in Bangued, Abra Province.

Design fact

Hand stitched edges provide a cleaner, finished look that give the blanket a more modern, distinctive feel. The stitched designs depict mountains, rivers, flowers, people, animals, and rice grains, etc. all telling the personal story of the weaver’s place and experiences. Hand stitching is more time and labor intensive, making the blanket truly special and unique.

Tiniri is the technique of weaving twisted yarns of different hues to mimic a distinctive tie-dyed, multi-colored look.

Binacol design consists of squares and rectangles in contrasting colors depicting a traditional cat's paw motif, one of the most common binacol patterns where repeating sets of four rectangular shapes mimic a cat's footprint.
